The Athens Solidarity Center offers many services, including:
- Information desk
- Social services (social protections, counseling and empowerment, referrals)
- Legal support (legal counseling, mediation, and court representation for certain cases)
- Psycho-social support
- Psychological support (individual counseling and psychotherapy, empowerment, inclusion and personal development groups)
- Day center for children ages 3–12 years (individual and group pedagogical/creative programs for children, socialization and learning support groups, recreational events, support counseling for parents and children, social services and help with children's and families' essential needs, information and referrals to social support services, lending library, educational programs, excursions and cultural events)
- Employment support (support with the job search, job orientation sessions, employment skills training, job interview preparation, thematic workshops, seminars and networking with potential employers, networking with educational programs)
- Counseling and accounting support (tax consulting for individuals, counseling and guidance for municipal benefits, social benefits and debt settlements)
Services are provided by Solidarity Now and Network for Children's Rights.
Additional Information
You can meet the social workers to talk about the type of assistance you need.
You do not need an appointment to meet the social workers.
The social workers will refer you to the services you need.
