The Union of Hellenic-Arabic Friendship offers activities and services to help asylum-seekers and refugees integrate in Greek society, preserve Arab heritage, and introduce Greeks to Arab culture:
- Arabic, Greek and English language classes for refugee children and adults
- Arabic language classes for non-Arabic speakers
- Integration activities, such as presentations on Arabic and Greek cultures and habits, local tours of Thessaloniki, and football games with Greeks
- Halal meat and food products
- Abayas for women
Additional Information
You can register for classes at the center on the day of the class:
- Classes for children: Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m.
- English lessons for adults: Tuesday and Thursday from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m.
