The Day Center is a community center for children (ages 3 – 16 years) and their parents or guardians, offering:
- Support for social inclusion and integration
- Assessment, diagnosis and treatment for psychological and learning difficulties
- Short-term individual or group psycho-therapeutic sessions for children and adolescents
- Counseling and psycho-education for parents
- Greek and English classes for parents
- Social services, counseling and support (information on the public health system, the national educational system, and social benefits)
- Referrals for other services
The Day Center offers an educational program with creative and therapeutic activities to support children's development of social and language skills, including:
- Greek language learning group
- English language learning group
- Science learning group (math, physics, etc.)
- Theatrical game group
- Movies group
The Zeuxis team includes mental health professionals, child-psychologist, social workers and educators.
Additional Information
The first time you come to the Day Center you will need to meet with Zeuxis staff to register.
- After you register, you can attend all classes and educational activities without an appointment
- You will need an appointment for other services
