Social Hackers Academy offers a coding course for asylum-seekers, refugees and EU nationals/residents. The curriculum was developed in partnership with schools from all over Europe (“Hack Your Future” Network).
You will learn:
- How to design and develop websites and Internet applications
- Modules on HTML / CSS, Javascript, Node.js, Databases, and React
- Soft skills that will help you on the job market (CV-writing, making a LinkedIn profile, etc)
Courses continue online. Working hours: 11:00-22:00.
Requirements
This course is for individuals who will complete the full course and want to start working in IT. Social Hackers Academy cooperates with tech companies to open job vacancies to students who complete the course.
Students should:
- Be fluent in English
- Be 16 years or older
- Have a residence permit or be an asylum-seeker
Previous experience (academic and work) in IT is preferred because the program is very demanding with assignments and homework.
