Τhe DRC 'Roving Cultural Mediators' accompany asylum-seekers and refugees on visits to services in Athens, such as:
- Hospitals
- PEDY Clinics
- Municipality Clinics and Mental Health Centers
- Greek public services, such as KEP Offices, TAX Offices, Registry Offices and OAED
- Other services related to your rights and needs
Additional Information
You need a referral to access this service.
Ask the social service or humanitarian organization that is managing your case to contact DRC in order to request this service. Social services/humanitarian organizations can contact nafsika.rentzou@drc.ngo to request the referral form.
Please note that during COVID-19 restrictions, DRC Roving Cultural Mediators continue to receive referrals via telephone but do not accompany (no physical presence) refugees to COVID-19 reference hospitals (Sotiria, Attiko, IKA Alexandras, Evangelismos, Thriassio) and to ER. If needed, over the phone interpretation can be provided.
