Streetwork Project
Since March 2020, the Greek Association of People Living with HIV “Positive Voice” and the Hellenic Liver Patients Association “Prometheus”, in collaboration with the Municipality of Athens and OKANA, have undertaken the initiative to intensify their street work activity, to support vulnerable groups such as users of psychoactive substances, homeless people, sex workers, immigrants and refugees. The Streetwork Project teams, distribute safe injection materials, protective materials, such as gloves, face masks and condoms, while they provide referrals for sexual health testing, empowerment, social work service and legal support.
Additional Information
The activity takes place three times a week, every Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
