GCR provides legal and psychosocial support to vulnerable refugees and asylum seekers. More specifically,
Legal assistance:
- information councelling sessions regarding sylum procedure
- legal support in every stage of asylum procedure (1st and 2nd instance, Dublin regulation)
- legal support at all stages of deportation detention or enforcement of restrictive measures
- legal support of PoCs in all cases related to refugee status/ vulnerability
- legal representation of PoCs before greek and international courts
- councelling sessions and legal support for SGBV survivors
- weekly Info provision at UNHCR protection desk at the camp (every Friday 11.00 a.m. to 12.00 p.m.)
- Supporting Subsequent Applications For Asylum
Psychosocial Support:
- Psychological and councelling sessions with vulnerable beneficiaries
- Cooperation with private psychiatrist
- Case management
- Liaison with public health actors
- Escorts to public institutions
- NFI distributions
- Referrals to other actors
- Assistance to asylum seekers and recognized refugees with standard procedures
- Info provision
