The program aims to provide social, legal and psychological support services, provision of food and non-food items, as well as community building and empowerment groups, for trans and gender non-conforming refugees, asylum seekers and migrants. The program is staffed by a social worker, a lawyer, a psychologist, a support line manager and two community building and empowerment group facilitators.
To get in touch with the program, interested persons need to contact (via WhatsApp text message) the Emantes Support Line, +306971693446, themselves, in their chosen language, stating their basic request(s). The Support Line operates with automatic translation for languages other than Greek and English. Any further intervention (assessment, meetings with professionals) is done through interpreters, if necessary.
